This JJ 6L6-GC tube is a high quality option for both guitar and home audio tube amplifiers.

From our review: "Big, open, articulate; these are the words that came into my head when listening to the JJ tubes. The tubes have great tone and nicely capture the "6L6 sound", characterized by sparkling highs, warm mids, and controlled bass response."

Say yeah to the Double J's!

I love these tubes! The JJ 6l6 GC power tubes come standard in the Eddie Van Halen 5150lll 50 watt amp head. These tubes are very very very well-balanced. On the red Channel the evh 5150 sounds awesome even at low volumes! Believe me, this review is all about the Double J's power tubes not the amp head. In my opinion, if you put these power tubes in any other amp head or combo I'm sure it will sound fantastic without Breaking the Bank.

Very, very good tubes/tweak time.

Just picked up a used Deville-4 x 10, and sounded ok-threw in these, along with a 5751 in # 1 spot. And 2 12AX7's...J.J.'s/ 6L6. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I've been a fan, cost wise for a long time. Not just a "cheap" tube-worth the $$.Tip-guys & gals...use the #2 input to tame the shrill gain side of hot rods & deville. Works well.

Great work by JJ

Awesome tubes!! Have it in my Bogner Alchemist and they seem to hold up for a very long time! Last time my power tubes died I got a pair of these (Summer 2019) and they seem to last long - writing this in May 2021 as they still work. I play my Bogner pretty much every day cause it can be quiet enough to be a practice amp aswell, have rehearsals with my band and had few gigs with them prior pandemic.. So I can definetely stand behind the statement that they last long. Tone wise, I think they work better for me then Electro Harmonics I had before , even though the pre-amp tubes do the magic this JJ 6L6GC's seem to help push out bottom end and nice balanced mid-range. They are also very cheap, so what better out of this buck can you get?

Nice output tubes for Fender combos

Upon evaluating a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV, I swapped out the factory installed GT-6L6CHP power amp tubes with these JJ's. I checked the bias (both tubes together); it was around 60mA (the factory installed tubes had been running at 70mA), and the JJ's sounded darker and duller, till I increased the bias. Around 70mA more or less, I think they sound better than the GT-6L6CHP tubes.
