I would advise against using them in compact high-powered combo amps where they will be subjected to lots of vibration.
One other note about the construction of these tubes is they have filaments that are almost completely encased in the plate structure. They often don't "light up" when working properly. This is not a problem, it's normal for the LPS."

Love the LPS
A very good musical 12ax7 from Sovtek. I have been using 3 of them in a old greenboard Fender Blues Jr with 2 NOS Amperex 6bq5's for a couple of years now and have had no microphonic issues at high volumes.
Best of the Russian 12AX7
These are the most consistent and a very good warm sounding 12AX7. Very long lasting and very consistant tube to tube. Best for the money don't even mess with the other NEW SENSOR stuff although the EH 12AX7 is good too if you need it even more quiet as far as noise.
Best PI tube
by Steven Eddy
I like this tube in the PI of almost every tube amp out there. Very nice - great frequency response - good mids - pushes the power tubes very well.
Best 12AX7 I've tried - love it.
Warm, smooth, balanced, musical. Love this tube. Used in my Yaqin phono stage they have bettered every other tube I've tried. The cheap price is a bonus. I've stopped tube rolling in the Yaqin since I see no point in trying to better these
Good tube but watch where you put it
I put two of these (V2 and V3) in a Super Bass clone with good and bad results. Do NOT use these in cathode follower stages. The voltage drop there is too great and this tube will not last long there. Mine lasted about 10 minutes. The phase inverter is a totally different story. This tube excels there and delivers full, lush, smooth overdrive at nearly any volume level. I have not tried this in V1 but I would imagine that it would sound beautiful there as well.
