The Electro-Harmonix 12AU7A / ECC82 Gold vacuum tubes are a gold-plated pin version of their very popular preamp tube. It is a premium quality 12AU7 tube built to match the performance of the military-industrial original GE 6189 tube. Low microphonics and excellent linearity offer a musical and harmonic soundstage, making this 12AU7 tube equal to the original and a cut above the competition.

The 12AU7 tube type is equivalent to the European ECC82 tube and can be used in any 12AU7 or ECC82 circuit.

Warranty Information and Return Policy

Warranty Period: 3 months

All our tubes are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of purchase. (Any exceptions will be noted on that tube's Warranty tab)

If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:

- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 90 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.

Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

These guidelines may be updated without notice.

Electro-Harmonix 12AU7A / ECC82EH Gold | Can't wait to hear these after a little time on them!

I replaced the original JAN Phillips vacuum tubes with these EH-12AU7 gold pins & the improvement in my Elekit TU-875 preamp was there from the start. I am amazed with the fine detail in the mids and highs The low end response is cohesive with the right amount of detailed authority. I also have EH 12AT7 in my VTL ST-85 and hearing what these did putting a set in my preamp was another great improvement. These preamp tubes make dialling in your sound an easy task! High Recommendations!!!

The EH-12AU7G added a more open natural sound to the pre section on my KT-88 stereo tube amplifier. Very open and precise.

Electro-Harmonix 12AU7A / ECC82EH Gold | Great sound

I have these EH-12AU7G in the front 2 slots of my Primaluna dialogue premium preamp. They have a nice top end without tizz, a smooth midrange, and punchy tight bass. A nice sounding solid tube, especially with classic rock recordings IMO. A bargain considering the the price of quality, low noise tubes.

Electro-Harmonix 12AU7A / ECC82EH Gold | Very quiet tubes

I replaced the factory installed pre-amp tubes in my PrimaLuna Prologue Premium integrated amplifier with these EH-12AU7G. The improvement was immediately noticeable. I am really impressed with how quiet these Electro-Harmonix tubes are. Also, the highs are more extended and overall transparency and clarity is improved. Very happy with this purchase.
