fantastic tone and phenomenal imaging for dedicated listening

first i got the mid level kit, and it was great. then i upgraded to this kit, and it's just phenomenal. granted, it costs as much as the amp itself, and it's not as boombastic as chinese tubes, to me, the tesla tubes bring a slightly bright sound with astonishing clarity and soundstage imaging.
I'm not sure i would recommend these for casual listening, but if you want a more neutral/reference tone for dedicated listening sessions...
for certain albums, it's almost as if these tubes let me hear the limitations of vinyl and they do tend to brighten up already bright cd's
