This 6V6 power tube will sound excellent in any amp that accepts them. If you have a vintage or reissue Fender Deluxe, Princeton, or Champ, you need to try the Preferred Series 6V6GT. It is well built, with a thick glass envelope and overall has a solid, substantial feel. With its 14W plate rating and 450V plate voltage rating, it's one of the toughest 6V6 vacuum tubes available.
The Preferred Series 6V6GT construction features:
- A solid grey plate like the premium NOS RCA, Sylvania and GE 6V6GT tubes from the 1950's and 1960's
- High plate voltage rating of 450V
- High plate dissipation rating of 14W
- Welded plate (not crimpled) to help reduce rattle
- Clear-top, with bottom mounted getter
- Gold grid wires
- The filament used is low-noise
- The bottle is made with a heavy gauge glass
- And finally the blue color base is a nice touch too!

Warranty Period: 6 months
All our tubes are guaranteed for 6 months from the date of purchase. (Any exceptions will be noted on that tube's Warranty tab)
If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:
- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 180 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.
Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

Wow! Swapped out the tired 6V6 in my Fender Champ for one of these PS-6V6GT and it brought my amp back to life again. Highs have a great sparkle, and the noise floor is noticeably lower. Not even a hint of microphonics either. Great tube! I'll be buying more.

The new Preferred Series 6V6GT is a great tube! Its got a real 6V6 tone and handles high plate voltage and has zero microphonics. The go-to tube has always been JJ because of the high voltage handling but tone wise and its microphonics can make the JJ 6V6S a hassle. The PS-6V6GT vacuum tube has none of these issues! This tube sounds more like a real 6v6 than the JJ tube does. This tube has a nice balanced midrange that makes you want to plug in and play. It recreates the sound of the RCA 6V6GT grey-plate for a fraction of the cost. Go get some you won’t be sorry! It rocks :)
