Fender '65 Princeton Reverb Reissue - Premium Package

My new Princeton Reverb RI Amp started making a static noise on start-up just several weeks after purchase. Rather than trouble shoot which tube was suspect, I replaced the entire set of factory tubes with this Premium Package. The noise went away as expected. But, unexpectedly, the sound of these tubes in my amp is SO MUCH better then the originals (when they were functioning properly). Vast improvement in tone!!! Well worth the money and I feel confident you will be impressed with the results too.

I installed this upgrade on my Fender Princeton Reverb 65 Reissue FSR yesterday. I decided to install new tubes because the reverb had stopped working and the tubes were step one in figuring out the problem. I figured why not swap them all out with an upgrade at the same time? Well, I should have done this day one. I can't believe the huge sound difference. The amp is warmer, creamier, just all around wonderful. I'm surprised that Fender doesn't use better stock tubes on their FSR amps. It sounded good stock but great with this tube set. You won't regret this purchase. Thank you thetubestore!

I recently installed the premium upgrade set in my PRRI. While the amp sounded ok with the stock tubes, the premium set has taken the tone to a whole new level - the cleans are cleaner, the tone is warmer and creamy, no harshness in the highs and lows just sound wonderful. This upgrade is well worth $$$.
