Very Happy

Purchased 4 of theses 572b tubes to replace the 811a in my Ameritron AL-811H. The tubes came in 3 days and were in perfect shape. They were packed very very well and there wasn't a scratch on them. Now to put them in the amp and see how they preform. I have high hopes and if all goes well I'll buy a second set as tubes are getting harder and harder to find. Great company, fast shipping, awesome packing good prices and they guarantee the tubes work or they will replace them free.

Excellent buy!

I've let these burn in with no HV for about 4 or 5 hours, then tuned them up in my SB-200 at 600+ watts. They seem to perform just as well as the Cetron's that were in there before. The Cetron's were doing fine, but 572B's are getting harder to find these days, so I wanted a backup pair waiting in the wings. I'll probably use these and keep the Cetron's as spares, who knows what they'll be worth in 10 more years.

I did notice a slight reduction in power at 21 and 28Mhz compared to the Cetrons, but they may just need some more burn in time, and besides the difference was very small. They performed a little better than the Cetrons on the lower frequencies, however.

All in all I'm very pleased. One of the tubes arrived damaged internally, likely from shipping. This is surprising because the packaging was VERY good. Regardless, these guys shipped out a replacement ASAP, very pleased with the service and I'll be buying here again.
