The Psvane 5881 (6L6GB) vacuum tube is a recent addition to our inventory. They are known for a good sound in both hifi stereo amplifiers and guitar amps. They have a little less headroom than 6L6GC power tubes but more than USA made 5881 tubes, at about 23W plate dissipation. The plate voltage suggested limit is 450V making them a good option for most amplifiers.

Psvane 5881 (6L6GC) | Good tubes so far!

by -

I needed new power tubes for my spare JCM900 4100/100w head. After speaking with a gentleman on the phone (sorry forgot his name), he thought these PSV-5881 would fit my intended needs. After biasing, at about 67%, these are sounding great. Time will tell how long they last, but surely brought new life back to this amp!
