JD9 Norther Electric vs TungSol 12AX7

Used with a Grado wood body & CJ Tube amp/preamp gave improvements in dynamics & transients as well as greater emphasis on midrange & bass over the Tungsol OEM tubes -giving a much richer and vibrant sound. If there is a downside the sound borders on being a little too rich or sweet in my system, but bottom line is the music is more involving and I have never enjoyed the music more. If your system is not overly rich already then these tubes are well worth the price.
