JJ ECC802-S / 12AU7 Gold | Great Tube!

I was pleasantly surprised by these JJ-ECC802S-G tubes! They might be the best new tube I have! Wow, they really work well in my phono preamp.

My system as described above is hooked up to Harbeth P3ESR speakers. I purchased this tube to brighten up my system. This is a great tube. Nice clear highs, good bass, excellent mids with ultra clear voices. Very little sibilance and that is it's main advantage over other tubes that I have tried (NOS GE, re-issue Mullard, EH gold). And while it sounds great, I just wish it went al title further and was more musical like the EH gold.

I use 12AU7s to calm down the gain in the lead channels in a couple of my amps and was surprised at the difference compared with the JJ ECC82. Much fuller sound overall and definitely more bass.
