RE this tube
by RH Kowalski
I had purchased a pair of these 3 years ago and have no regrets. They sound great in my Cary 300SEI with good highs, mids, and bass. They are tough tubes as well.
Meaty, beaty, big and bouncy!

I recently reviewed the whole fleet of 300B tubes. The JJ is a big, heavy construction tube with a big, full sound - but still lively and fast. Excellent sonics overall. It had the best bass foundation, and was superb on percussion. For my full review see my website, www.wallofsound.ca
Works fine but . . .
This tubes have run my 300B Pro MDA (french WE91 version) for a very short period of time. Same thing with Sun Audio SV-300B. Flat sound without any magic or mystery 300B are supposed to sing. Compared with VA 4300B, Shuguang 300B-Z, or Shuguang 300B-98, those 3 were far away better. IMHO, the las choice you can make
Fantastic affordable 300B
The JJ is very durable and good sounding tube at a fraction of the cost of a WE 300b. Measures exactly like a WE 300B although it sounds very different. I actually prefer the JJ and EML 300B variants over WE. The JJ being the most affordable and EML sounding by far the best assuming you have deep pockets.
