Amazing set and tone

If you have the Deluxe 4 Hot Rod, put the 12AT7 in the phase inverter (V3), it really warms the amp up.
Great HRD IV upgrade!

Outstanding set for my Hot Rod Deluxe IV. I used the 12AT7 in the phase inverter spot instead of V1, sounded better with the Celestion Creamback in the amp. I have the extension with the Jensen speaker as well. V1 spot felt like I lost too much low end and it got uncomfortably bright with my usual eq settings (T5, B3, M3, P5). In the PI spot, the amp sounded warm with crunch and very smooth high's even when using either a wah or mutron filter. I play a Yamaha SG with Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pick ups.
