Tung-Sol 7581A Power Vacuum Tube (Matched)

Matched sextets and octets are available as well.You need more clean headroom? The new Tung-Sol 7581A vacuum tube is the answer. This tube is an upgraded 6L6GC tube but willprovide more headroom than typical 6L6GC tubes. The 7581-A power tube has a plate dissipation rating of 35W, as opposed to the 6L6GC and 7581 rating of 30W. The 7581A tube can be used in any 6L6 based tube circuit.

A fantastic choice for your Fender tube amp, Ampeg amps normally using 7027A tubes, Music Man amps, or any other 6L6 based tube amp where you need to increase headroom.

Warranty Period: 3 monthsAll our tubes are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of purchase. (Any exceptions will be noted on that tube's Warranty tab)
If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:
- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 90 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.
Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

It's like getting a new amplifier!

I just popped a set of these in my '65 Fender Bassman and love the sound! While they may not give me higher power, there seems to be more headroom and punch; dynamics are bigger and better controlled; and the sound is very open and clear at every frequency with tons of very solid bottom-end. They also seem quite stable, well-matched, and the bias can be dialed-in perfectly. All of my 6L6s are getting tossed out and replaced with these!
Serious Upgrade!

I put these in an old Rivera M60. They biased to within 0.1 mA and, wow, what a wonderful improvement! It just sounds like a BIG 6L6! Great lows, clean-yet-rich mids, and the high-end is sweet, but clear. Balanced-yet-lively.

Was using 6L6-STCs in VP20 amp, which are pretty good 6L6s, but these are AMAZING in comparison. No midrange drop, with very linear and transparent sound. Love these!
Wow! Just wow!

I use this tube to replace my hifi amplifier which previously using Shuguang EL34.
Small modification to adjust the bias to be slightly hotter as the original bias is very small for this new tube.
Once turned on and waiting a while for the tube to reach its temperature, I cranked up my favorite song.
Immediately I notice the difference. The sound produced now is more open, more dynamic and stronger. I can hear more sound on the lower end and upper end without having any over bright in the midrange.
It seems like I am having a new amplifier.
The Best 6L6......

Having tried several 5881 and 6L6 tube variants,the last being TAD 6L6WGC-STR, which I have used the last 5 years as my favorite in a Prima Luna Dialogue and a Melody SP3.
I came across a 6L6 shootout on the Wall Of Sound website.
I ordered a matched quad of the first place Tungsol 7581 tubes.
Let me tell you from top to bottom this tube is so musical it lets me here inside the music and the inner detail is astonishing.
My speakers never sounded so good.
The sound stage is huge and precise and the bass is jaw dropping compared to the TAD.
Anyone who can use 6L6 tubes in a hifi amp/integrated will be shocked
