The Tung-Sol name and trademark have been acquired by the New Sensor Corporation. This new production Tungsol tube is manufactured at their Xpo-Pul factory (also known as Reflektor) in Saratov, Russia. New Sensor is an American corporation and since taking ownership of this factory has been steadily improving the quality of current production tubes.

Warranty Period: 3 monthsAll our tubes are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of purchase. (Any exceptions will be noted on that tube's Warranty tab)
If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:
- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 90 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.
Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

I am a modern metal player and have tried just about every tube on the market. These tubes are stellar for rock and classic metal. However, for what I aim for, these can't provide. The "Boogie bottom end" has all but disappeared from my Triple Rectifier. With the bass dimed, these tubes have a lot less bottom end than EL34s with the bass at noon. Live and learn as they say.

I put these into a Fender HR Deluxe... initially, on this amp, the speaker had come a little loose on the face, and it jackhammered the heck out of the amp... killing all the tubes... The Winged C's that were in there sounded of jingle bells when it was done.
I tightened it all back up, and it was obvious that the existing tubes had been shaken to death.
I got the TS 6L6GC-STR for this amp... as I was hoping the short bottle would be able to be as tough as the Sovtek 5881WXT+... that tube is tough, but they are right that it's not exactly sonic bliss.
The TS was installed and biased a little on the cool side... the amp came alive. There's lots of punch, and no noise. I like the way they braced the Micas in this one, as I feel it would reduce movement up and down as well as side-to-side.
I can't evaluate the before/after too well, since this was an Amp repair for someone... What I can say is that the TS 6L6GC-STR puts out plenty of volume, no noise, and has the innards secured well in the bottle. This makes me happy, as I'm sick of tubes that Jingle themselves apart when they are hung upside down (like in the HR Deluxe)... this Amp vibrates lots, since it's 40w through a heavy duty 12"...... and the construction of this tube works well in this harsh environment.
Tone for Days!

I got the matched quad set to put in my 2001 Fender "Twin Amp" and all I can say is, WHOLLY $H*T! What a huge difference a great set of matched power tubes can make. I thought that it would sound better, but better doesn't even come close to these tubes. The minute I turned on the amp and ran my Boss GT100 through the front end "Clean" channel, this amp just came alive in every respect. The real creamy harmonics and EQ just smolders and especially the bass is so punchy and tight, not flabby in the least. I LOVE THESE TUBES!! I've finally found my connection for tubes at a great price and doing business with thetubestore has been a great experience, I'm hooked! Thanks for turning me on to what a great tube amp is really supposed to sound like. I'm in tone nirvana now!!!

Tried a pair of these Tung-Sol 6L6GC-STR in my early 90's fender Blues Deluxe amp. These tubes compliment this amps core sound in that they bring out the harmonic and percussive content in single notes as well as chords. This amp currently has a 5751 in the V1 spot. Strat and Tele players... enjoy!
