This Russian 6H23p is the standard version (Non EB) of the the 6922 or 6DJ8 tube and is also the equivalent to the European ECC88 / E88CC tube. It can be used in any 6922, 6DJ8 or ECC88 circuit.

It is also known as a 6n23n or a 6n23p. This NOS (new old stock) tube is a upgrade over the Sovtek 6922 tube and Electro Harmonix 6922 tube. These are the hard to find and of good quality in both sound and construction.

Warranty Period: 3 months

All our tubes are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of purchase. (Any exceptions will be noted on that tube's Warranty tab)

If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:

- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 90 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.

Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

line side of the AI preamp

pleasantly surprised at these in an AI M3a preamp... got them matched .. very weighty & palpable, good definition. Marked improvement from sovtek or EH types. Not as much upper freq extension as the EB premium types, but well worth the price + match fee.

Good but...

I bought two of those (matched) for pre-amp section of my Audio Analogue Verdi cento (to replace 6922EH).
Really impressed with mediums, warmer and a lot of texture.
But compare to 6922, I lost some neutrality. Sound stage seems less open (in height).
Therefore, everything seems more focused.

So great choice if you play jazz type music (with vocals) - but not as good with classics or pop, Electro...

I will go back to 6922EH tubes
