JSC Voskhod 6N1P
The Russian 6N1Pis a small signal dual triode intended for use as a line level amplifier or driver in high quality audio amplifiers. These tubes are often found relabeled by Sovtek or Svetlana. Except for higher heater current, the 6N1P is similar to 6DJ8, ECC88 or 6922 types and may substitute for these types in some high level audio applications.
Check with your equipment manufacturer before using this tube as a sub for these types.
The 6N1P tube is equivalent to the Chinese 6N1 (6N1J) tube. However we find they cause hum when used in Yaqin tube amps. For these we suggest you upgrade to a different 6922 tube type.
Features include very low distortion, medium transconductance, higher plate-voltage and dissipation rating than 6DJ8 types, and larger cathode than 6DJ8 types. This gives it longer life and more transient current capability.

If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:
- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 90 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.
Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

Works well in Anthem Pre 1, 2 line stage.

I tired these as a cheap re-tube on an Anthem Pre-2L. They worked quite well, and sections were fairly well matched. Russian 6H23p's were a bit smoother, and better overall, but these were just as open and dynamic. Bargain at this price, IMO. Should work just as well in Anthem Pre-1s. 6CG7's also drop in to this circuit, and the best are RCA clear tops if you can find them, which is why I'm saving mine. Happy listening!
good sounding tube

I can only agree with the other comments. I use it in a Schiit Vali 2 Headphone Amp, and the result is great. It is a soft sounding tube. Good product for that price.
Sweet, expansive, with a lower noise floor than stock

I have a Schiit Lyr 1(hybrid) using the stock 6N1P tubes for many years. After buying these 6N1P-EB's, all the characteristics are in tact and there is a noticeable change in the noise floor when using IEM's.
I would highly recommend these for Schiit Lyr 1 /2 owners if you really enjoy the sweet tube sound.
