Good. Works well in my Finale f-138. Still breaking in. Sound is great. Will get better after some time. Thanks to the guys and gals at the tube store.

VERY NICE, YES INDEED!

I purchased a pair for my Dynaco MK3 vintage amplifiers. I was surprised by the increase in power and improved sound. I didn't expect to hear quite a difference; maybe a little, but not a lot. I was using original Mullards, but I wanted to try something different and preserve those older tubes. I have used other new manufacture 5AR4s that disappointed or failed too soon. Now, I've only been using these for about ten hours, so time will tell. But so far, so good. And they look nice, too.

Improved clarity and soundstage

I don’t think it’s my imagination. The rectifier really does have a notable influence on the sound quality. I’m using a Bob Latino ST-120 I assembled a year or two ago. I’ve tried a few rectifiers. The gold lion didn’t last but it was such an improvement I wanted to try something other than the one it came with or the sovteks which aren’t any better. I had a vintage GE GZ34 I took out of a monoblock which was amazing but reached its end of life. This one has great detail. For example I can make out lyrics that previously I was never sure exact what they were saying. Like a song I’ve heard hundreds of times all the sudden it’s like oh - I didn’t know that’s what she was saying. It’s still early I’ve only played it for a handful of hours but the soundstage is wider and deeper than with the cheaper rectifiers. Great bass response and makes a real presence that drum or bass is right there in the room with me.

Excellent 5AR4

Bought 2 at the Black Friday sale "just for the heck of it" to replace original Groove Tube in my fairly new Fender 68 PRRI silverface....great improvement...tone is more clear and improves the twang factor of my G&L ASAT....tone is especially improved on low E string. I didn't know a rectifier tube made this much difference or what it actually does, but I highly recommend this tube...glad I got a couple of them

A true sonic upgrade

I purchased 2 preferred series 5Ar4 rectifier tubes for my Primaluna Dialogue Premium preamp.Have used Sovtek, Gold Lion, Mullard,PL silver label-stock tubes-,Sino in the past. With only 20 hours on them, these Preferred Series blow away the others iv'e listed. The bass is accurate & tight, the midrange is very clean & neutral, and the top end is smooth without giving up any detail, without fatigue or brightness. Best new production rectifier I've heard by far & will only get better with more playing time.Very solid, weighty tube, no thin glass or junk pins. The 6 month warranty is the best iv'e seen, price is right,- I got them during the Black Friday sale-but even at normal cost a real quality, great sounding tube.YES,different brand rectifiers make a big difference, I can easily hear the differences.Best one, so far!
