Best EL34 tube made

Since the old Tesla factories stopped making EL34 tubes in the 1990's, the tubes made by 'Winged C" - JSC SED corporation, are easily the best, some would say the only, satisfactory substitutes. Without getting into the sonic qualities of tubes, which are highly subjective, one can just examine how they are made and see they are superior to almost everything else. These tubes are built to be industrial grade, commercial grade, replacement parts, just as the old North American and West European tubes were. JSC Svetlana (SED) is the only "old -school" industrial electronics components manufacturer still making a few models of "receiving tubes". Too bad they don't make more types.

Marshall Haze Premium Pkg

I recently did a tube overhaul on my Marshall Haze 40 combo. What a difference these tubes make!! This amp has always been to muddy for my liking, with the stock Marshall tubes and JJ's. Now, the amp is much more alive -- tight bottom, Marshall growl, and clean, crisp highs. I changed both the pre-amp and power tubes with the Premium Pkg of SED Winged C and Preferred Series 7025... definitely worth every penny!! Thanks!
