Mullard 12AT7WA / CV4024 Preamp Vacuum Tube
The NOS Mullard 12AT7WA / CV4024 / M8162 vacuum tube is low noise and long lasting. This 12AT7 preamp tube is a very good choice for hifi preamps, driver stages, and guitar amp reverb circuits.
These Mullard 12AT7 vacuum tubes were made in the Mitcham, Great Britain factory.
The 12AT7 tube type is equivalent to the European ECC81 tube and can be used in any 12AT7 or ECC81 circuit.

If you receive a tube that does not perform to the manufacturer's specifications, please do the following:
- contact us to get a return authorization
- return it via regular mail within 90 days from when we shipped it, and we will provide an exchange or refund of the full purchase price of the tube.
Returns not related to warranty or defect will be considered at our discretion, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
We can not accept returns that don't have an authorization, are past 3 month, or are returned improperly.

This is an excellent tube, in a different league than Mullard MU-12AT7WA Reissue which is good. Works very well with Mullard cv4004/12AX7.
Awesome sauce

I kinda hate to write these up, but now that the prices have gone steep I don't mind telling folks these are the best sounding tubes you can find next to actual Mullard12AX7s. Aside from a bit less gain, they have all the warmth and complexity of their impossible-to-find counterparts. And if you want AFL the fashion, you still have the house-brand 7025 Preferred Series, which are awesome for a modern 12AX7 tube.
V1 in Effectrode Tube-Vibe Pedal

Excellent service & product, as usual. I just paid a handsome price for my new Effectrode Tube-Vibe all tube pedal and it came with some mediocre JJ tubes, so I opted for the full Monty and got this Mullard 12AT7WA tube for the V1 position; I have some other NOS Mullard 12AU7's in V2 and V3. Wow - what a gorgeous, rich, deep & full sound! Awesome. Thanks, TS.

This is the perfect tube for the PI slot in a vintage era Hiwatt amp, really smoothed the tone out.

Have had this tube installed in position V3 (Phase Inverter) in two HRDs for approx 10 years (both amps operate frequently each week). Have not had any tube last this long. The Mullard 12AT7 produces absolutely sweeeeet tone as it drives the output tubes.
